Since last year, we have been hearing Dan Housen keeping himself busy building a life after Rockstar Games, the creators of Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption that he co-founded and seems that he is trying again on his own terms.

Geoff Keighley confirmed via Twitter that a new gaming studio called Absurd Ventures was founded by Dan Housen.

As per the press release, Absurd Ventures will not only focus on video games, but also more medias as it says:

“[Absurd is] building narrative worlds, creating characters, and writing stories for a diverse variety of genres, without regard to medium, to be produced for live-action and animation; video games and other interactive content; books, graphic novels, and scripted podcasts."

Last time we heard of Housen, he was well investigating the landscape of Web3 gaming and even founding a capital firm to actually make some investment but nothing has happened since first reporting about his involvement with Web3 gaming studio Revolving Games.
