Capcom acquires Swordcanes, the co-developers of Street Fighter 6 & Final Fantasy XVI

In parallel with their earning results, Capcom announced that it has acquired Swordcanes, a support studio that has previously worked on Street Fighter 6, Final Fantasy 16 and Hi-Fi Rush.

Pretty much they were impressed on how the studio works with CG assets and animation and it is important to say that Street Fighters 6 was not their first collaboration.

Swordcanes also worked on several Monster Hunter games and helped Bandai Namco in co-developing the remake of Pokémon Snap for Nintendo.
