It is a green light day for the new PS Plus and its tiers including Essential (the substitute of the OG that we met and spent a fortune for the past decade), Extra (PS Plus and PS Now fusioned) and PS Premium (the true answer attempt to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate).

What people had noticed so far particularly for PS Plus Premium?

Before getting to the list of games that are probably why you are reading this in 1st place, let me tell you some of the things that have been noticed by sources of VGC.

In terms of resolution and frames, games particularly in the original Playstation catalog reaches at 60Hz frequency under the NTSC format which many see as great news, maybe except for friends with PAL format that will go 10Hz less.

While Sony promised 400 games from both PS4 and PS4, with 340 from PS3 and down, the tier debuted respectively with 300 and 250 games.

Apparently this launch still misses some of the original planned game so, probably by this month the catalog will be curated.

  • PS Plus Premium ($17.99 monthly/$119.99 yearly) - All Extra offering + 340 additional games between PS3, PS2, original Playstation and PSP that can be downloaded and be played vía streaming and the PS3 games will only be Streaming.
