I read a TLDR about how Microsoft justified the purchase in New Zealand & it is that the market has a lot of cake to cut even if Activision Blizzard is no longer independent.
The reality is that there isn't much legally that regulators can object to that sale, unless Activision Blizzard screws it up of course.
But Sony NOW claiming that Call Of Duty has not real competition after saying in January that as long as there are a contract, everything "is good" on Microsoft buying the whole conglomerate a good thing, probably they know something and the FTC's approval or dead silence is just a matter of time.
It's just baffling that if Sony wasn't sure the whole time about a great partner heading to be a new Xbox Game Studio, should have made some sound since day 1 and not waiting when everything is about to be set & done.
