I will be celebrating my 26th birthday with a stream on Twitch on Sunday May 29th at 7pm EST!

ATTENTION STREAMERS!

Here are some stats that you should be aware of..

-The top 1% of Twitch have an average concurrent viewership of roughly 20 viewers
-Twitch’s top 5,000 streamers pull in 74% of all watch time
-Let's say you get 747 subs.. After Amazon takes its 50% cut from all of streamer’s 747 subs, they get $2,190. Multiply that over the course of a year, and this streamer makes an average of $26,280
---> this isn't even half of what it takes to live on now a days.<---

Making a living on Twitch alone is one of the hardest things to do. So then what? Give up?

DIVERSIFY YOUR PORTFOLIO!!!!

YOUTUBE:
-The average YouTube channel can expect to make about $18 per 1,000 ad views. That translates to $3 to $5 per 1,000 video views when you factor in the rate of ads actually viewed.
-With 1,000 subs expect to earn anywhere between $20 and $100 a month, but this varies a lot. Some YouTubers with 1,000 subscribers can make $200 a month, some only $10.

Affiliate Marketing:
-Use your brand to push other brands onto your audience. Most affiliate programs award a % to the affiliate on each purchase. Take Gfuel: 10% commission for every successful sale.

Sponsored Videos:
-After building your presence on Youtube and other social medias, you will start to attract attention from companies. They will reach out to you via email or DM and ask to have their product advertised on your video. Most companies pay $500+ for these videos.

Subscription services:
-OnlyFans isn't the only content creator subscription model... there is Ourchat, Fanhouse, even Patreon. Your audience can support you monthly without Twitch taking half of the cut!

Donations:
-Ask for donations on stream! Have rewards for them to entice them to donate and avoid Twitch taking money!

Being a Twitch streamer is rough. They don't really help with discovery like we do and they take half of your income! Be sure to not limit yourself!
