About a month ago I launched a 30 day community challenge on Twitch stating that if the BHTV Crew could raise 200,000 channel points, that I would do a 24 hour live stream.
The goal was hit it less than 2 weeks! So this past Thursday/Friday, I streamed for 24 hours. It was a mind blowing experience, and one that I will never forget.
My streams are typically 2 hours long on average, streaming everyday, so trying to think of 2 weeks worth of content to do in one day was a bit of a challenge. I had a few bullet points of what I wanted to do, but struggled to create a good format for it. With my normal streams I can just go live and wing it, I love improv and being able to change something on the drop of a dime. But for the 24 hour stream I wanted to have more of a plan.. but didn’t. But to my surprise it turned out way better than I expected. I even had a few things planned out that I DIDN’T get to!
I was taken away by how many of my followers showed up and REALLY taken away by how many of them STAYED the entire time. I absolutely love my growing community on Twitch, and am so proud of how far I’ve come in the almost year I’ve been streaming.
Working nearly 50+ hours a week at my full time job, and streaming EVERY night can be a struggle for sure, but the feeling I get from streaming is something that just can’t be replaced and makes the lack of sleep and hours of grinding all worth it.
