One of my biggest pet peeves when joining a streamers Discord, is when they ping everyone every single time they go live.
On Twitch, when you follow someone it automatically turns notifications on. So this means people get not one, but TWO, pings just saying you’re live.
Now you could make the argument of “well what if they turned notifications off on Twitch, I still want them to know I’m live!”. Look, if they turned notifications off, it’s for a reason. If they really want to watch they will.
