This would break almost more than 20 years of annual releases with which it is evident that the community was already overwhelmed with so many titles in a row and it is obvious to say that the poor performance of COD Vanguard was below expectations a great motivator for rethinking some plans .
Activision has already confirmed that the Modern Warfare 2 remake will be this year's offering alongside the true sequel to Call Of Duty Warzone 2 for the Battle Royale wing of its franchise.
