After looking into the history of Super Smash Bros and learning that the first game came out in 1999 on the Nintendo 64, a console that released in 1996/1997 it got me thinking about a few things.
Theirs a super smash Bros game for 3DS and if we call the switch a hybrid console as opposed to a handheld (go with it as it makes the analogy easier) this is the only time we see a super smash bros game on a handheld.
This had me looking at release dates for Nintendo consoles and handhelds and I thought to myself what if Nintendo had released a Smash Bros game for the Gameboy Advance as an example and you could play local co op using the link cable accessory
