...the number of tweets I've seen today of people losing their minds over Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter is mind boggling. I've been reading the posts on LinkedIn commenting about this, and this one caught my attention:
"A vast majority of social media users will continue to view Twitter as ground truth.
The second part of the problem is - when Musk says free speech to all, he is really saying, 'we will no longer ban people for knowingly posting false statements.'”
It'll be interesting to see how Elon plans to restructure Twitter over the next several months. Personally, this doesn't impact me for several reasons; the primary one being that if I *do* let this affect me, I'm only proving that I'm easily manipulated by someone else.
