Hot Take of the day:

If you want to do something or create something with the main goal of it being to "boost your numbers" or to gain some sort of traction, seriously reconsider doing that thing.

This can apply to anything. If you're going to create content on tiktok because you want it to bring viewers to your stream, dont. Create content on tiktok because it's fun to you and you enjoy doing it.

If you want to join an org or something like GG because you think it'll get you more followers. Dont. If you want to "network" with other streamers in hopes that it'll bring more people to your own streams, DONT. Join those things or make those connections for the experience and wanting to genuinely connect with other creaters/gamers and build friendships with people who can relate to you - not to build your viewer base.

Authenticity is preached everywhere yet every day I still see people doing things for all the wrong reasons.

Take a step back, and really be honest with yourself and why you're doing something. I promise if you're doing it for the right reasons and not to "grow" or boost yourself, it'll go a lot further with a shift in your mindset.

Here's a picture from my birthday stream because pictures naturally catch eyes of your viewers more than just text. <3
