#ADayOffTwitch was a good movement, but ended up generating more hate between streamers than actuallly fighting hate on the platform. Streamers hating on eachother for streaming on Sept 1st...definitely made me look at some people differently :relieved:

Today, I am taking #ADayOffTwitch and I'll be amongst the many who have chosen to take a stand for change on the platform. I'm coming up on 2 years next month that I've been a Twitch affiliate and I love what I do. I enjoy gaming with friends, fellow streamers and viewers. Seeing people come together for a few hours and just vibe is so rewarding. We should ALL feel welcome and included no matter our race, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, ALL THAT! No matter your walk of life we need to be able to have a place that we call home and is safe! #TwitchDoBetter
