Unexpectedly for some, the Capcom Spotlight presented this week gained an unexpected protagonist and rather than Resident Evil 4 Remake and being close to launch, pretty much the attention was given to the newest IP called Exoprimal.

After two sessions of Closed Network Testing in 2022, finally, Capcom revealed that Exoprimal will be released on July 14, 2023.

Set in the year 2040, Exoprimal sees humanity’s existence threatened by waves of dinosaur outbreaks across the globe.

A corporation called Aibius has developed an advanced AI that can pinpoint the location of upcoming outbreaks, as well as exosuits that assault, tank, and support pilots use to combat the invaders.

Pretty much expect this game to be like Overwatch, a game rich in lore but not solo or campaign mode and probably we need to pay close attention to details in gameplay to learn more about the lore.

Exoprimal Release Date, Battle Pass, & Open Beta Revealed

For those who don’t want to wait to try out the game, Capcom announced an Open Beta Test that will run between March 17th to March 19 and selected participants (via request submission) will receive an exclusive Beta Tester medal.

Exoprimal is a multiplayer action game in which the player must fight against massive hordes of dinosaurs and mutated prehistoric creatures. The game is scheduled for release on July 14, 2023, for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X and PC.

It was confirmed that the game will be a day one release for the Xbox Game Pass.
