It is Tuesday and already past the weekly reset, but today is a brand new cycle of Destiny 2 with the beginning of the Season of the Deep, exploring the lore of Destiny 2 in the Lightfall expansion timeline.

The 21st season, Season of the Deep, will run from today May 23th through mid August and it is expected to explore what's been happening lately in Titan as Deputy Commander Sloane called for help due to an anomaly under the sea of liquid methane.

With that we can jump into the newest mechanics that Destiny 2 wins and is Guardians going under fluids (would be incorrectly called water or underwater).

Of course as a new season, expect one new Nightfall activity along with the ability to be able to  craft weapons that you gain on the Last Wish Raid and new Exotic Weapon and Armor Reworks, including Exotic Armor focusing added to Rahool.

Yesterday many were taken somehow unsurprised that Bungie began cross promoting the new season with the Playstation version of the game and for Playstation users, will get exclusive gear based on Playstation Studios games like Ghost of Tsushima and Horizon Forbidden West.
