Capcom took another turn on State Of Play and we got another Resident Evil announcement, this time the next-gen update of Resident Evil Village for Playstation 5 will gain another step in interactivity to help Ethan rescue Rose.

Based on the Playstation 5 build, Resident Evil Village will be relaunched as a Playstation VR2 or PSVR2 title.

There were not many details shared this time as practically, not even the PSVR2 had so much detail beside what was revealed back in January, but we have to assume that Capcom will take as much of the capacities as possible to enhance the experience to play as Ethan.

In Resident Evil Village Ethan Winters and his wife Mia, already parents of Baby Rose, are trying to leave the events of Resident Evil Biohazard behind while the Winters have been under the care of the new version of Umbrella Corporation with supervision of Chris Redfield.

Unexpectedly and surprisingly, Chris led an attack in which Mia appears to be killed and Redfield focused on taking Rose and a shocked Ethan and that is when everything went from wrong to worse.

As there is no PSVR2 release date, obviously Capcom could not give a timeslot on when to expect the VR version of Resident Evil Village.
