We were in the radar for another launch from CD Projekt Red, related to the spinoff of The Witcher game known as Gwen and the studio went forward and allowed IGN to take a taste for the game that launches today on PC, Android and iOS.

The original Gwent: The Witcher Card game's lore is really in hand-to-hand with The Witcher lore but the new Gwent: Rogue Mage has its own lore.

In Gwent: Rogue Mage, we are hundreds of years before Geralt was born, with players taking on the role of the mage Alzur as he attempts to create the first ever witcher.

The game or stand-alone expansion retain much of Gwent's mechanics but adds roguelike to encite the mechanics which is aimed according to CDPR interview with IGN, as a way to give more PvE experience, as Gwent original mini-game was popular with users and serves as the inspiration for making Gwent: Rogue Mage.

GRM will have AI to make you feel that you are playing with a real opponent in a multiple player environment, but the game is single player only (maybe for now?).

Despite being considered a stand-alone expansion to Gwent and unlike its predecessor, Gwent: Rogue Mage is not a free ro play and it will cost $9.99 with a special offer of $19.99 that will include the game, in-game skins, cosmetics, and card packs.
