Lapsus$ member & hacker behind the 2022 #GTA6 leaks, Arion Kurtaj, was found guilty on launching cyberattacks on Rockstar Games, Uber & Nvidia after court accepted that he could not be judged with criminal intent since he has autism. The Lapsus$ hacking group introduced themselves in the cybersecurity community after successfully landing ransomware/hacking last year, which forced many companies to do BIG reevaluations. Members average from late teens to early adults (very common in the past actually). While many members were already arrested in the UK & Brazil, in Kurtaj case, this is the 3rd time being busted and by the first 2 times, he was already banned from having Internet access. Apparently his latest stint was done via a modified Amazon Stick, a Tablet & a Smartphone. #Gaming #GamingNews

Difficult month for Nvidia and not only because they had to give up buying ARM, but last weekend they told the press that there was an incident that they are investigating. But sources indicate that security systems detected an intrusion where hackers left a ransomware which is claimed to have compromised more than 1TB of data and if they are not compensated, it will be spreading on the Dark Web. A group of hackers called Lapsus claimed responsibility and in fact leaked the credentials of Nvidia employees and it is believed that only one compromise was enough for the intrusion. The information they hold aside from employee credentials is heavily rumored to include RTX video card data and specs that have not been announced yet and circumvented an early attempt by Nvidia to wipe the leaked information remotely. Pero fuentes indican que sistemas de seguridad detectaron una intrusión donde hackers dejaron un ransomware el cual se afirma que se comprometió más de 1TB de información y si no son compensados, se estará diseminando en el Dark Web. Un grupo de hackers llamados Lapsus se auto proclamaron responsables y de hecho filtraron las credenciales de empleados de Nvidia y se cree que uno solo comprometido bastó para la intrusión. Se rumora fuertemente que la información que tienen a parte de las credenciales de empleados, incluyen datos y especificaciones de tarjetas de video RTX que no han sido anunciadas todavía y burlaron un primer intento de Nvidia de borrar la información filtrada remotamente.
