• I had been reading many rumors including this one and also, that Activision is deliberately allowing Ricochet ignore hackers on Warzone Caldera in an effort to have low players engagement, enough to justify its closure.

  • Bungie just won their 3rd lawsuit against Destiny 2 cheat developers and I fail to see why this is not a normal thing to see with Activision with Call of Duty and btw, I'll pretend I haven't read the rumors that Warzone Caldera is allowing hackers on purpose to justify a "closure".

  • Well, hackers are not taking a break.
Well, hackers are not taking a break.
Diablo 4 also makes an unauthorized appearance
Now that Rockstar Games admitted that Grand Theft Auto 6 leaks are real, I can safely say that Blizzard probably will be doing the same as apparently footage from in-development Diablo 4 also got leaked. Obviously we are NOT reproducing the leaked video for the purpose of avoiding DMCA from Blizzard Entertainment, but a video exists in the wild of 43 minutes from an apparent Alpha Test of...

  • In unusual silence on the subject, Ubisoft has not provided an update after it admitted late last week that it had an unauthorized intrusion into its data centers and that no personal information appeared to have been extracted.

Although not much fuss has happened, an apparent Telegram account belonging to the Lapsus hacker group (who have practically given Nvidia and Samsung headaches) reacted with the sarcastic face emoji hinting that it was them.

It is believed that the purpose was not to seek personal information.

  • In the process of continuing to build Google Cloud as a powerful entity against AWS and Azure, Google confirmed that it bought the logical security company Mandiant so that its assets are used extensively in Google Cloud.

The name of Mandiant will sound familiar to many and they were the ones who discovered that for a terrifying time, platforms and computers were spied on and hacked with an intrusion into the SolarWinds platform and that it went unnoticed except for them at the end of 2020, where a group was accused of being hackers linked to the Russian government.

The transaction was for $5.4 billion in cash and is pending regulatory approval.

  • Lapsus returns to the attack and after giving Nvidia a run for its money last week, it is now Samsung's turn.

The South Korean confirmed that she is investigating an illegal entry into one of its data centers and that it appears to be portions of the source code for the software that Samsung puts into Android for Galaxy phones.

The Lapsus group claims to be the authors of this intrusion and found 190 GB of data that also includes features for a Galaxy to coexist with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

Unlike Nvidia, they made no conditions not to filter the internet and merely published the content of the intrusion.

Samsung claims that although Lapsus claims that security information was also backed up, no personal information was reached in this hack.
