Soldier of Fortune 2 has aged quite roughly compared to it's contemporaries. The model animation isn't interpolated, and character animations during cutscenes seem to operate on an uncapped framerate, so people just scurry all over the place in wildly strange ways. But I play this game for the GHOUL2 Engine, which in sad to say has also not aged well. Many titles have improved upon the formula of ripping character models to shreds since then, so the gore is shockingly underplayed these days.
The random mission generator is still fun though, and the shotgun still slaps.
