After celebrating officially last week the 30th anniversary of the release of the original Mortal Kombat game in arcades and home consoles, NetherRealm Studios revealed that a new mobile Mortal Kombat game is bound for 2023.
The game is named Mortal Kombat: Onslaught and it is the official major mobile launch since 2015 Mortal Kombat Mobile and it is slated as the first mobile-exclusive cinematic story experience.
NetherRealm Studios said that the game is more focused to be more a an RPG-like game rather than just full fighting experience like MK Mobile and players should expect being able to form groups with a “vast roster of characters – and unleash them in massive real-time group battles to stop a dark and dangerous threat from wreaking havoc across the realms.”
Mortal Komabt: Onslaught is slated to be released on iOS and Android for 2023 and you can register with your WB Games account to be notified of the availability.
