Basically this article will sum up how the very first seven days of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet were, and boy, things are picking up for The Pokémon Company, Game Freak (the developers) and Nintendo.

According to The Pokémon Company, Scarlet and Violet are the most pre-ordered titles in series' history as expected.

Within three days of its release, the games had sold over 10 million copies worldwide, including 4.05 million in Japan alone. The sales figure was the highest of any software on any Nintendo platform within three days, and the best launch of any console-exclusive game in history.

But that is when the fun ends for Nintendo.

Rumors were starting to pile up that early adopters were noticing something strange with BOTH Pokémon versions and by the November 18th launch day, it became apparent that both Scarlet and Violet were feeling half-baked games rather a flawless experience.

Practically if Pokémon Sword & Shield were accused of using Sun & Moon assets without much improvements, Pokémon Scarlet & Violet were the opposite and in my opinion, it does question how long Nintendo can push the Nintendo Switch where THERE IS NONE more powerful successor on the horizon.

Bugs like Frame rate chugs, shadows and models popping and behaving incorrectly, Clipping of both characters and Pokémon, camera issues, crash, exterior transition and low resolution are the summary of the errors reported.

The situation got specially bad that user are reporting mixed feedback on landing or failing to land a refund from Nintendo, specially for the digital version of the game and while the unhappiness is the main thing here, some users on social media are more hopeful that the game will improve and despite having refunds, they will buy the game again.

How was your experience if you are a day one buyer of either Pokémon Scarlet, Violet or both?
