We are coming to a close on news regarding quarterly earning reports and there was some interteres on Embracer Group as we are heading for the first anniversary of the purchase of the western studios of Square Enix including Eidos Montreal and Crystal Dynamics.

Embreacer Group announced their Q3 2023 with a record 128% growth on revenue ascending at an US Dollar equivalent of $1.12 billion with Tabletop Games segment as the star of the quarter.

Embracer Group went into a purchase frenzy in 2022 as not only buying gaming studios for Square Enix, but also notable companies like Limited Run Games, Tripwire Interactive, Singtrix and Tuxedo Labs, in its quest to become a gaming conglomerate.

Almost a year old since becoming the owner of Eidos Montreal (who absorbed Onoma fka Square Enix Montreal) and Crystal Dynamics after Square Enix sold them out, Embracer Group is betting high.

Including the already announced new sequel to Tomb Raider, both studios are expected to have launched or announced 5 games by March 2028 as per Embracer CEO Lars Wingefors in a confident note for investors.

Noise is that besides Tomb Raider, there is a new Deus Ex game in the making, along with a joint venture with Xbox Game Studio on a Fable game with Eidos Montreal and also another joint venture with Xbox Game Studio with Crystal Dynamics on a unannounced Perfect Dark game.
