All Elite Wrestling or simply AEW has a pending debut in the gaming world being a new rival for WWE not only in the squared circle SMALL market but also on video games, but as WWE already announced WWE 2K23, we still got no word for the launch of AEW Fight Forever.

Apparently it is not Yuke’s or THQ Nordic fault but the same ESRB not granting an reportedly desired Teen rating.

As per Wrestler Zone, the game failed to be within the parameters for the Entertainment Software Rating Board to be granted a Teen rate and the game crosses to the Mature, which while being able to be sold in many markets, will limit the desired audience for the game.

While blood in wrestling has been a thing in the gaming market, AEW first foray in gaming is a little different as the game includes more types of hardcore matches and more graphical on wrestlers bleeding and injuries.

No direct announcement has been made yet, but it is highly probable that the game will miss the 1st half of 2023 release windows and maybe is for the best to avoid for now, competing against a WWE 2K game.
