One of the most anticipated titles of 2021 was actually Back 4 Blood, a spiritual successor of Left 4 Dead developed by Turtle Rock Studio and while many wanted to know what was in store for 2023, we got a surprise.

A surprising announcement by Turtle Rock Studio was made this week and it is that the studio is already preparing for their next big game.

That is of course the good news within the bad news.

The bad news of this announcement is that Turtle Rock Studio does not have enough staff to work on a new game while creating more content for Back 4 Blood and they were forced to end new development.

This means that after almost 2 years of life, the game only had one expansion called Children of the Worm, released last summer with a new story campaign, character and more.
