Well, it is raining upwards, grass is blue, the sun is green and <insert any impossible thing that you might imagine it never happened>, as Electronic Arts or more specifically EA Sport has done what many believe was impossible.
Coming from a company that likes to charge for anything on his game, it is really surprising to see that same company saying they are testing a forbidden word like “cross-play”.
Well, EA Sport is currently testing the cross-play capacity for FIFA 22 for Playstation 5, PC, Xbox One Series S & X and Stadia.
So yeah, the first “but” of this is that past-gen consoles are out of the cross-play and EA warns that players should expect some trouble on matchmaking as the feature is not a stable release following the recent patch of FIFA 22.
Needless to say that users at Google Stadia are the most benefiting from the cross-play as FIFA 22 was in a surprising weekend special at $14.99 and without cross-play and a known small user base in comparison with Playstation and Xbox, they could play with other platform’s users.
