In corporate news by Nintenando and probably many would believe that this would give tips or hints on what is the future of hardware by Nintendo (a good hot topic these days in the gaming community), we got an update on a previous announcement with company DeNA.

Nintendo and DeNA have confirmed that the previously announced joint venture called Nintendo System has started doing business today.

As per the “About” section on their main website states that the purpose of Nintendo System is:

“Development and operation of systems related to the digital part of Nintendo's business

Planning, development and operation of new services representative”

So unfortunately no, this doesn’t mean anything hardware regardless the website looks great with a software development-manthra interface.

Nintendo will own the 80% of the subsidiary meanwhile DeNA will not only take the 20% but also oversee the aspect of Nintendo looking for a system that facilitates the delivery of Nintendo’s entertainment to our customers.

So once again, this doesn’t even tip for what is next after the Nintendo Switch but at least, this does mean that Nointendo is exploring new ventures with their IPs as DeNA was pretty much the star on Nintendo’s attempt to capitalize on the mobile game market on iOS and Android.
