We are still far away from a proper Diablo IV presentation as the last time I checked the rumor mill, but another Diablo game went almost as MIA after being unpopularly announced as a new way to exploit microtransaction with Smartphone in the form of Diablo Immortal.
While the narrative has been getting soft for Diablo Immortal and proper acceptance has been growing, Blizzard Entertainment finally gave us the news!
Blizzard Entertainment confirmed early this week that Diablo Immortal will be releasing for iOS and Android in their respective App Store and Google Play Store by June 2nd and surprisingly, a PC version of the game will be on Beta.
About the Beta on Pc, Diablo Immortal will be open for everybody (naturally accepting that you can expect known and unknown issues or performance problems) and will have cross-play with mobile gamers.
In lore speaking, Diablo Immortal is taking place five years after the events of Diablo II, where you are recruited by Deckard Cain for locating and destroy shards of the Worldstone across the world of Sanctuary in order to prevent a world-threatening disaster and fend off cultist and undeads.
