It is unfortunate that I woke up reading the news that the co-founder of the known company for gaming PC accessories & gaming PC Razer, Robert Krakoof has passed away as Razer confirmed via Twitter.
Also known as RazerGuy, it was in 1999 that he introduced the Razer Boomslang, considered the first ever gaming mouse or more precisely a true peripheral dedicated for video gaming and not just general computing.
Although Razer was already in the mind of buyers, it was until it was founded in 2005 when Krakoff and his first company, Kärna went bankrupt and joined forces with Min-Liang Tan, who is currently the CEO of Razer.
We are saddened by the passing of Co-Founder and President Emeritus, Robert Krakoff, known by everyone as RazerGuy. Robert’s unwavering drive and passion for gaming lives on and continues to inspire all of us.

Robert Krakoff leaves this world at the age of 81 and after 15 years being the face of Razer, shared his time between Mexico and Arizona. May he rest in peace!
