Definitely Bethesda was bound to have a big fall and winter of 2022 with the launch of Redfall and the highly anticipated Starfiled as both are its newest intellectual properties and were looking to be the next big thing for the now Xbox Game Studios member.
But unfortunately these are still difficult days where the world still struggles with a pandemic that insists on not going away and while it is true that it was not mentioned “Due the current COVID circumstance”, most of us woke up with the news.
Bethesda announced early today that they found opportunities to polish further both Redfall and Starfield and pushed their respective launch from Fall 2022 to the first half of 2023.
Redfall is being developed by Arkane Studios and will be an open world first-person shooter video game that features both single-player and cooperative multiplayer modes, where players can choose among four playable characters with unique backgrounds and ability to fight against vampires as well as human enemies within the game.
Meanwhile, Starfield is being developed by Bethesda Game Studio, originally announced on E3 2018 as Bethesda in-house IP in 25 years, being a futuristic RPG where humanity is divided in two factions, the United Colonies and Freestar Collective and which are engaged in a bloody Colony War.
I admit that I am a little disappointed at least in the Starfield case, but remember that is better a late launched AND POLISHED game rather a hasty and half-baked game.
