This week's Project Moon claws received their Variants (player's character in game's lore) and practically the first 10,000 chosen players must have bought the Founder Pass for $50 in cash or Ethereum-based crypto.
With the Variants Founder Pass cycle most likely finished, Dr. Disrespect's Midnight Society announced what to expect now.
The first build of Project Moon, in this case called Snapshot will premiere in July 29th and subsequent Snapshot will be given to players every six weeks, each of them a sandboxed version of the multiple maps or improvements of already released, that Project Moon will have when it gets compiled as a one true game.
Players are expected to see an experience of a Vertical Extraction Shooter, in which the goal is to capture the essence of arena shooter level design with the scale and scope of battle royale player counts, and the session-to-session gameplay mechanics of extraction-based shooters.
There will be sessions of PvP with players/Variants facing each other and there will be sessions that the development team will be also playing and for the July 29's premiere it is expected that this is one of those sessions.
Midnight Society will host an in-person event in Los Angeles and details about those who can assist, and how they can do so, will be shared soon.
