As expected, Nintendo is continuing with the hype that Mario Strikers: Battle League has brought as this is the first Mario Strikers since its original game for the Nintendo Gamecube and  Wave 1 or as they call their first DLC is free.

With Wave 1, Mario Strikers: Battle League gains Princess Daisy and Shy Guy and respectively both have their Strikes move with Daisy pushing off opponents and Shy Guy's gear will mean some advantages.

There will be a knight-themed gear set and the Desert Ruin stadium as a new playground and all this coming as a free update on Friday July 22 with Wave 2 and 3 on schedule for future updates but no details were shared, including if they will remain free.
