While I don't cover general tech without gaming to be attached for this blog, AMD had an interesting quarter thanks to its gaming approach including their Radeon GPUs line, discrete GPUs and gaming companies associations like Microsoft and Sony, respectively for Xbox and Playstation.

AMD closed the middle of 2022 with a $5 billion bang thanks to its gaming effort, that includes all their fronts including Radeon GPU card, integrated circuits version on high end laptops and their custom GPUs for Xbox Series S/X and Playstation 5 consoles.

According to CEO Lisa Su on their investors conference, the strongest quarter of 2022 was Q3, the trimester that goes from February to April 2022 and the best performance was actually the Microsoft and Sony consoles, despite being also a victim of availability due semiconductor shortage.

Q2 2022 meant for AMD, $6.6 billion on revenue (a record for histori Q2) or a 70% positive  in comparison of last year's Q2 and while all looked good until now, challenges for its other market including general computing and services business have been relentless as the company just had $447 million in net income a negative 37% in comparison with Q2 2021.
