Playing it more carefully in 2022, Crystal Dynamics have not gone overboard with the 2022 roadmap of Marvel's Avengers and it seems that things are resulting and finally, the next few months for the game have been revealed.

We are pending of a mayor Title Update with Title Update 2.6 that will include new scenario called  'No Rest for the Wicked', and will feature a new villain focused adventure, seeing the potential return of M.O.D.O.K alongside improvements across all the rosters combat, balance and traversal mechanics. 

There are also plans for what they called "Beyond Update 2.6" and we were given the expectations that a new event called AIM Cloning Lab as an Omega-Level threat, will include additional endgame content, bringing new gear and an increase to the games power level-cap.

But more importantly, there is a newcomer and debuting on Marvel's Avengers is The Winter Soldier, Bucky Barnes and will be a new class itself with a mix of brawler and marksman Hero.

Contrary to what was Spider-man, there is no indication that The Winter Soldier is bound to be a specific-platform exclusive (WHICH IS GOOD NEWS) and a proper release date will be shared after the deployment of Update 2.6.
