Without wasting any time while the close conclusion of the Twisted Metal TV Series development and NBC's Peacock streaming services, Playstation Production is already working on its next big productions and a new movie is coming from the archives of PS Vita.
Deadline claims to have sources that indicated that Sony and Playstation Productions greenlighted the production of a movie based on GRavity Rush, with Anna Mastro (Secret Society of Second Born Royals) as director andEmily Jerome (Panopticon) working on the script.
Gravity Rush is an action-adventure video game originally released for PS Vita in 2012 (remastered later for Playstation 4) and developed by Playstation's Japan Studio, have players take the role of Kat, a young woman who can manipulate how gravity affects her, allowing her to walk on walls and fly through the air.
It is still pending to confirm which movie studios is picking up if for some reason Sony Picture or Columbia Pictures doesn't pick up the movie and a release date target and when Playstation Productions will confirm any of the details presented.
