As usual for any new launch, FromSoftware is issuing Elden Ring day 1 patch and Digital Foundry has reviewed the same and Elden Ring 1.07 includes:
-Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X will have achievable 45 to 60 fps in performance mode and 30 to 60 fps in quality mode
-Both the Xbox Series S and X will be able to run VRR for a more stable 60 FPS
The patch however, does not included the above for Playstation 5 (VRR) so in that regard, it is recommended to play the PS4 version on the PS5 for the time being.
-The patch really focused quite a bit on consoles and on PC only the focus was on fixes on poor performance platforms under DirectX 12, so graphical differences on consoles are still the order for future updates.
HEY… It's just the first day, don't despair friends from the world of PC Gaming.
