It is no secret that Bungie have scheduled 2023 to present a brand new intellectual property, but nevertheless, we are due a new expansion on Destiny 2 and Lightfall is kinda of a Cyberpunk vibe times for the Guardians and this is Destiny 2: Lightfall.

In Lightfall, we will finally reach Neomuna City on Neptune, which looks like a dystopian futuristic, cyberpunk-themed place surrounded by Cloud Striders, that protect Neomuna.

The dangers that we can find in the city are the Shadow Legion Cabal faction and huge Tormentors that can attack from a distance, all with Calus and The Witness returning as antagonists , searching for a way to destroy The Traveler.

With Lightfall, we gain a new subclass named Strand and this green-colored aura will have Guardians more flexibility on making moves and evasion, but giving some edge on battle, including a wrist grapple hook, and Bungie admitted that this particular tool was set for Hunters but decided to make it available for all classes for Lightfall.

What is class-exclusive, Titans get giant claws for damage, Hunters get a rope that you can weave and whip with, and Warlocks get a blade barrage-like super ability.

Bungie worked on a native LFG with player unique identification and a new commendations system where players can show appreciation for fellow players.

Destiny 2: Lightfall will launch on February 28th for Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, Stadia and PC (both Steam and Epic Games).

For now, it is time for Season Of Plunder

Season of Plunder is all about being space pirates, and it sees the return of the Fallen Eramis villain. Battles include a new Ketchcrash mode where you board pirate ships and loot chests, and another activity where you hunt down pirate leaders.

Season of Plunder also introduces Arc 3.0, the final rework for class abilities. Titans get a new Thunderclap charged melee attack with big damage, with Hunters getting Blink movement once again. Warlocks get Two new lightning melee attacks, too.
