It is earning reporting season and while I am not going in deep on financial stuff, I do want to note the highlights and the first big gaming company (non Sony/Microsoft/etc.) to make a report was the veteran japanese Capcom.

Capcom reported that in Q2 2023 (Capcom sees Fiscal Year), the company did 49,067 million yen or roughly 335 million US Dollar on net sales with 21,985 million Yen or scratching 150 million dollars, which is a t decline of almost 21% and 7% respectively compared to last year, in which the company attributed to "major new title in the previous fiscal year", which some have left speculating if they are blaming either Resident Evil Village or Monster Hunter Rise as they were the mayor launch of 2021.

Nevertheless, we can say that PROBABLY Monster Hunter Rise isn’t as Capcom announced sales mark for major launch in the past and REsident Evil series closed the quarter with 131 million units sold with 10 million belonging to Resident Evil 2 Remake and respectively, Monster Hunter as a franchise with 88 million with 11 belonging to Monster Hunter Rise.

Finally, Capcom revealed its future plans including, going for the Pachinko Market with a Pachinko version of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne and the 2023 season of Street Fighter esport league, with the hand of Street Fighter 6.
