Blizzard is in full throttle with Overwatch 2 now a month old and keeping with its promise, we got another Overwatch character and this time, another choice for Tank joins with the name of Ramattra.

Late this week and using the Overwatch League Grand Finals as an announcing platform, Blizzard confirmed a new character with the name of Ramattra and her backstory is already public.

“Ramattra’s story is complex and multifaceted, and his ultimate goal is to protect his people—but the cost of that goal is still to be determined. 

‘Suffer as I have’ 

Originally a war machine, Ramattra shed his munitions for a shield to protect his people by promoting peace and tranquility. His ideals weren’t far removed from his fellow Shambli monk, Zenyatta. However, Ramattra’s story is one of hardships, trauma, and a magnified view of humanity’s harsh realities.”

While there was a promise to deliver more detail on Ramattra’s abilities, the new tank will join the Overwatch 2 roster by the beginning of Season 2 on December 6th.
