Sony pressed on with their big title for the holidays season with the latest entry of God Of War and the second and last entry on the Nordic Mythology saga that Kratos is in God Of War Ragnarok.

Both early adopters and players that will get the game today via pre-orders physically and digitally will notice that the game already has an update and it is the NOW traditional Day One Patch.

While it is recommended not to skip the update, the almost 1GB of download (averaging 745MB) includes fixes in all areas where Playstation Studios’s Santa Monica Studios identified needed to be polished before the launch day.

Before the patch, God Of War Ragnarok was tested for early reviews with problems in dialogue, cinematics, quests and progression, gameplay, combat, equipment and upgrades, the user interface, game and system stability, audio, accessibility, localization, and visual impact.

Also, the patch includes DualSense feedback tuning for the PS5 and PS4’s specific changes mainly focus on receiving a few extra loading and crash fixes, noticing that the game itself looks and feels better on PS5 for obvious reasons.
