Despite being active recently on social media, the entertainment, gaming and comic books world was shocked at the sudden passing of Mr. Kevin Conroy, who is best known to be the true voice of Batman since 1992 and actually having portrayed him in a main Batman universe content in recent years.

While his family has not yet spoken openly as of the writing of this, it was actress Diane Pershing (original Poison Ivy character voice), that shared the news that Kevin Conroy has passed away.

Kevin Conroy was born in November 30, 1955 native of New York, had his first preparations in the entertainment world enrolling at the Juilliard School's drama division, having the great late Robin Williams as a classmate in 1973 and having his first interpretations in drama acts in 1978 when he toured with Houseman's acting group The Acting Company, and the following year he went on the national tour of Ira Levin's Deathtrap.

By 1980, along with drama performance, decided to move to California to begin landing gigs for television projects that lasted most of the 90’s and 2000’s.

But at the invitation of this agent to audition to a major role for a Batman in-development cartoon series was the moment that he jumped on mainstream fame when he was offered the role of BruceWayne/Batman to what know it is call Batman The Animated Series, a character that he would reprise in over 48 productions that were of Batman or Batman was involved.

Sixteen of them were Batman games related and one of them was himself acting as Bruce Wayne during Batwoman Episode: "Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part Two” where he played Earth-99’s Bruce Wayne.

As a gaming fan, Conroy also took roles on games like Crusaders of Might and Magic,Jak & Daxter, Max Payne 2: The Fall Of Payne, Lords of EverQuest and non-Batman DC roles in DC Nation Shorts.

Unfortunately, we learned that Kevin Conroy died of complications related to his intestinal cancer condition while hospitalized mid-week.
