Labeled as the biggest Sonic The Hedgehog game yet, Sega is keeping up the pace and the momentum the game has gained and now, it is time to know what’s next for the game and the upcoming year 2023.

Sega and Team Sonic presented the 2023 Roadmap of Sonic Frontiers and there will be three updates that will include DLC and content for the game

Update 1 includes a photo mode, juke box and new challenge modes and it is expected to go live, followed by Update 2 that includes “Sonic’s Birthday”, an open zone challenge and new Koko and finally, Update 3 will add playable new story content and playable characters.

While no release date was shared and I will assume that it will be a quarterly release, starting with Spring 2023 (hope I am not wrong), Sega confirmed that ALL UPDATES WILL BE GIVEN FOR FREE.

Sonic Frontiers is a 2022 platform game developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega. As Sonic the Hedgehog, the player explores the mysterious Starfall Islands to collect the Chaos Emeralds after Sonic and his friends are separated when falling through a wormhole.
