After a big influx of Playstation Productions content for both television and theaters, a God Of War production was always in the air about being a possibility and as per The Hollywood Reporter, it is now a reality.

The Hollywood Reporter confirms that the God Of War TV series has been greenlighted by Amazon and will have Rafe Judkins (Agents OF S.H.I.E.L.D., The Wheel Of Time) as showrunner and duo Mark Fergus & Hawk Ostby (Iron Man, Children of Men) serving as writers & executive producers.

Obviously, this means that the TV show will be an Amazon Prime exclusive.

Despite the God Of War lore includes both the Ancient Greece and Ancient Nordic influence as Kratos fought the Olympus almost by himself, the show was confirmed to follow 2018’s God Of War or the Nordic Mythology and remains to see who will play Kratos and Atreus.

The show will be an Amazon Studio original in association with Sony Pictures Television and Playstation Productions.
