The noise was high that Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions got us some news and it was NOT Death Stranding 2 and it was bound for Summer Game Fest. Well, the thing is that while there were no immediate details for the new game, Kojima Productions is making a Xbox exclusive game.

It was a surprising appearance at almost the end of Xbox & Bethesda Game Showcase where Hideo Kojima confirmed that Kojima Productions is making a new game for Xbox and it is an exciting time for him personally as this game will have experience never seen before.

Kojima confirmed that the partnership with Microsoft will allow them to use some of Xbox cutting-edge technology to change the industry trends.

“Changing” the industry change is a strong word and while he has the experience with creating the Metal Gear series and personally I think that the games, especially the Solid series were indeed a TRUE part of gaming history,, it remains to see what the new game is about.

Words in the industry is the horror game that he has been teasing for a few times, based on his vision on the canceled Silent Hills.
