A veteran of Blizzard and probably a known person within the Warcraft community makes a return to Blizzard Entertainment and yes is to be centered on Warcraft and probably its future as a classic gaming franchise.

Warcraft General Manager, John Hight, announced that former Blizzard developer and artist Chris Metzen, will be coming out of retirement in 2016 and was returning to Blizzard Entertainment as Creative ADvisor for World Of Warcraft.

Chris Metzen basically has done it all in Blizzard with roles including  game designer, artist, voice actor, and author for scripts and voice acting for  Warcraft, Diablo and StarCraft and going as high as a Vice President of Story and Franchise Development at Blizzard Entertainment and assisted the company's projects by providing voice talent for a number of characters, most notably the orc character Thrall, as well as contributing to artistic character design.

His returns should be viewed as a good sign that maybe Blizzard is moving on what is next for Warcraft and maybe chances and hopes that a proper Warcraft IV original game can be in the pipeline for the immediate future.
