After many days of speculation of the future of Satoshi, known as Ash Ketchum in our side of the world after winning BIG TIME in the anime, The Pokémon Company confirmed that in early 2023 that the beloved trainer from Pallet Town and his best buddy Pikachu are going to leave the anime.
While rumors were circulating, The Pokemon Company confirmed that there are going to be 11 new episodes in the Pokémon anime starting on January 13, 2023 that pretty much are aimed to say goodbye to Ash Ketchum and head to the Scarlet/Violet region of Paldea by April 2023.
With this, the new pair of trainers, Riko and Roy, will take over as the protagonist of the anime which has been a companion to the main series of games, starting in 1998 with the Red and Green (Blue Version in the West) version of Pokémon.
Expect the episodes to be filled with nostalgia as the trailer had Misty and Brock with some 1st generation Pokémon making an appearance so yeah, it ain’t going to be easy SPECIALLY Pokémon gamers since day 1 and much of us are middle-age people and Ash always stayed as 10 year old kid, the dream of today’s employer…10 year old of age with 25 years of job experience.
