Evidently and avoiding a Cyberpunk 2077 post-launch part two with the next-gen update of The Witcher III: Wild Hunt, CD Projek Red was indeed busy during the weeking ironing the kinks that led to some performance issues in all platforms, especially on PC.
Averaging between 1.9GB to 3GB in file size, the hotfix for the notorious issues which included poor ray tracing performance and general issues on the next-gen upgrade of The Witcher III Wild Hunt.
With this, CD Projekt Red also restored the next-gen update of The Witcher III: Wild Hunt on GOG & Steam, which were rolled back to avoid more users to suffer from inconvenience until the issues were resolved.
CD Projekt Red shared that development teams assigned to the game are working on further improving the experience on all platforms and this includes the Playstation 5 and the Xbox Series S/X versions.
