Another news regarding Blizzard Entertainment and yet another news of gaming directive changing ships as former Far Cry Director for Ubisoft have landed a similar job but this time, for Blizzard Entertainment.
Blizzard Entertainment President, Mike Ybarra, confirmed that Dan Hay has taken charge of Blizzard’s new survival game, which is the newest intellectual property since Overwatch and the game aims to be its new AAA survival game and was already mentioned before early this year, but no further details have been shared yet.
Dan Hay joined Ubisoft by the time of producing Far Cry 3 and has been gaining more leadership positions along the releases of Blood Dragon, Far Cry 4, Primal, Far Cry 5 and New Dawn, while Far Cry 5 is the highlight of his career on Ubisoft.
This followed as another big hiring was made public with Valorant Director leaving Riot Games to join Bungie and became a high executive for the new intellectual property, Matter, set to be announced in 2023 and target release in 2025.
