It’s been a while that I have not consistently covered gaming hardware including gaming PC that is not a prototype or from an underdog and at this time, HP decided to show what is new with its gaming brands Omen and Victus.
Hewlett Packard Inc. announced a new set of gaming monitors for the Omen family (no Omen PC this time) with 9 new members.
The main offering is the HP Omen 27k is a 27-inch 4K (3840 x 2160) display, a 1ms response time, and a 144Hz refresh rate. It supports gaming features like AMD FreeSync for reduced screen tearing and customizable aRGB lighting on the rear of the monitor.
Also, it supports KVM,which allows users to quickly switch between laptop or desktop machines without needing to physically swap their keyboard and mouse.
HP claims that the monitor can make a coverage of 99 percent sRGB and 95 percent DCI-P3 color gamut with DisplayHDR 400.
The HP Omen 27K will have a MSRP of $579.99.
Also, there are other 27 inch Omen monitors offering with the the Omen 34q, Omen 32q, Omen 32c, and the Omen 34c, respectively, two quad HD monitor (offering a 1440p resolution and a 240hz refresh rate) and two curved options and the Omen 27s which attend the need of speed with a refresh rate of 240Hz.
With this, we can mention the Omen 27qs, which is the mix of speed and quad HD resolution.
Finally, the $199.99 entry-level HP Omen 24 — a 24-inch 1080p display running at 165Hz but doesn’t include a KVM switch.

The new Omen family is expected to go on sale starting this spring and depends on a specific model.

HP touts the 16 inch display with mini-LED backlight that provides a stunning HDR experience with up to 1,180 nits of brightness and VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification. On top of that, you also get a super-smooth 240Hz refresh rate.
