Obviously trying to get away from insider news about some big project like the Apex Legends X Titanfall project getting canceled, Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts announced details about Revelry, the Season 16 of Apex Legends.
One of the newest features was actually one of the most requested and it is a persistent limited time mode playlist called Mixtape, which will offer a rotating mix of some of the most popular community game types.
This change is aimed to have a better welcoming for new gamers.
The 3v3 mode will be getting a sunset in this season and as a replacement, a Team Deathmatch is a 6v6 kill-based fast respawn mode in which teams are required to get 30 kills to win a round, and to win two rounds to win the game.
Team Deathmatch will be playable on the Party Crasher, Habitat 4 and Skull Town maps.
During matches,Players can choose to change their Legend and loadout each time they die and random airdrops throughout matches provide access to other weapons and items.
Also, players will find five classes instead of four including Assault, Skirmisher, Recon, Controller, and Support, all with their own unique perks.
Finally a new weapon called The Nemesis will make its debut and it is slated as a burst-fire assault rifle, with the bursts firing four bullets rapidly.
Apex Legends Season 16 Revelry will go live on February 14th 10 days later for the game’s fourth anniversary (game was released on Feb 4th, 2019) and will go for Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X and PC.
