With the common knowledge that the "friendship" between Electronic Arts and FIFA ended, we are still one EA Sport FIFA game left on what is left of the finalized partnership and it seems that EA Sport will make a good farewell for the franchise.

Today Electronic Arts and its sport division, EA Sport, finally presented the final product of EA Sport FIFA 23 and what we can expect of the final FIFA game under EA Sport seal.

Ironically being the last game, it will be the first time that FIFA 23 will feature women’s club teams, with two leagues available at launch including the Barclays Women’s Super League in England, and Division 1 Arkema in France with more joining during the season.

Both World Cup competitions will also feature in the game, with the men’s FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia and New Zealand 2023 coming as free post-launch updates.

Introduced on FIFA 22, FIFA Ultimate Team, Online Seasons and Online Friendlies will have crossplay support for all the platforms the game is launching.

Now, talking about the mechanics and technical improvement of the game, in the same notion as Madden NFL 23, EA Sport FIFA 23 will have a second generation of HyperMotion animation system called HyperMotion2, with over 600 authentic animations taken from millions of frames of advanced match capture.

This includes a new shooting mechanic that lets players make more powerful shots that require more time to pull off.

Finally, Ultimate Team mode will feature a redesigned chemistry system and a new mode called FUT Moments, which EA said is scenario-based mode.

EA Sport FIFA 23 will be launching to Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, PC, Nintendo Switch and Stadia on August 21, 2022.

Both EA Sport and FIFA have independently announced that we are still seeing Soccer video games for the future so 2023 will be an historic year all right.
